This is a YouTube video titled "Does this signal a shift in trade power? #WholesaleDistribution" containing a discussion or commentary about U.S. trade policy towards Japan, specifically addressing tariffs and trade deficits, with a focus on trade barriers and transshipment issues involving Vietnam. The content appears to be a monologue or single-speaker explanation rather than a multi-speaker conversation.

But he just goes through and explains the expectation and that says, therefore, we invite you to participate in the extraordinary economy of the United States, the number one market in the world by far. We have had years to discuss our trading relationship with Japan and have concluded that we must move away from these long term and very persistent trade deficits engendered by Japan's tariff and non tariff policies and trade barriers. Our relationship has been unfortunately far from reciprocal. Starting on August 1, 2025, we will charge Japan a tariff of only 20, only 25% on any and all Japanese products sent into the United States, separate from all sectoral tariffs. Goods trans shipped to evade a higher tariff will be subject to that higher tariff. Yeah, so basically, don't try anything funny, but that's the whole point of what's going on with the, the Vietnam. Because there was so much being trans shipped through Vietnam.
