Boston Dynamics' Atlas and Tesla's Optimus compared on size, weight, and what they can actually do. Atlas excels at acrobatics and mobility. One idea: swarms of smaller robots in warehouses and homes with fire sensors could grab extinguishers and respond before emergency services arrive.

This article is really good. It's a detailed comparison of two advanced humanoid robots. It compared the Atlas robot from Boston Dynamics with the Tesla Optimus robot. The Optimus robot is on the right, the Atlas robot is on the left. I think this was weighs almost what, £250? The Atlas robot and the Optimus is about £125. So this one's much more bigger. But the Atlas robot is designed to be literally a lot of heavy lifting. I think think it can do backflips. I think it said very mobile, all of that kind of stuff. Whereas the Optimus is a bit more generally in place there. But good article explaining the two of them and where they're at and what's coming and kind of the use cases for both.
Imagine if you had a series of robots in your warehouse and you had some outside of your warehouse that all had flame and or fire and smoke sensors in them, as well as carbon monoxide sensors. And they're grabbing fire extinguishers long before automatically call the fire department, it's fire out before the fire department arrives in your warehouse or your home.
