This is a YouTube video titled "How small is the window to pass meaningful legislation? #PolicyStrategy" containing a monologue by Joe Lonsdale discussing the limited time frame administrations have to pass legislation before midterm elections impact congressional control and voting behavior. The content is focused on U.S. political strategy and legislative timing.

Said this on the show a while back when I read it, but the vast majority of of administrations that controlled both the Congress and the Senate in the U.S. it's like staggering, statistically high that they don't continue to control that after the midterm elections. You want to push things through that. You want to get to be law. You've got about 18 months, because when you get into that six month window now, you've got all of the people that are missing for votes because they're in their districts campaigning, or they maybe get a little bit nervous about what they may support. So to your point, yes, 100% correct, the impact coming to your administration. But your ability to make those changes has to happen.
