Short transcript excerpt of Tom Burton arguing for a modest Federal Reserve rate cut (e.g., 25–50 basis points) to ease debt financing costs and help spur investment in AI infrastructure and manufacturing. He advises against large cuts to pre-pandemic levels, suggesting room for limited movement rather than aggressive easing.

I would just like to see a cut not to not cut anymore and continue to wait and see. Right. I think that as we've talked about the reason to cut is not necessarily because we're seeing either inflation dropping considerably or unemployment kicking up considerably. It's like there's probably room for a quarter or 50 basis point cut which would really help our in our debt financing and our debt that we're paying every month that would potentially spur some of the we're going to talk about this AI action plan here in just a minute and a lot of push to build infrastructure and manufacturing and so so there's a lot of other again I wouldn't say go cut two points right. That's not the right you know don't go back down to zero or whatever we were before. But I think what the point being is maybe there's room for movement and I think that's where the pressure is coming from.
