What's up, guys? Welcome to the Lead Fast podcast. My name is Daniel and this is Tommy. I.
Hey, guys, what's going on?
And we have some good, good content for you today. I'm sure of it.
Yeah, no, I'm excited about today. Today's one of those few days where we've had, like a conversation before we started recording and like, hey, what do you want to talk about?
Yeah. So it should be a little bit more structured than others. Not that the unstructured is bad. I think that's your element.
But no, I mean, we've. We've got some things. Like, I don't. We're going to do a card, I'm sure, and we don't know what that's going to be. But, you know, I do shuffle the.
Deck quite a bit because I think you get here and cheat sometimes.
I don't. I don't ever look at those things unless we're recording.
But. Well, let's jump right into it. So the first thing I want to save time for a card at the end, if we have it.
Yeah.
But if not, I want to talk about some content that I recorded of you during our curriculum. And you were talking about, you know, just like farming in general.
And we talk about that a lot.
We do.
Because I only will. I will only talk about what I know. I just won't talk about any. I'm not gonna make it up.
Well, and I understand that because I'm from the south as well, and farming is just something I get. I mean, I'm not a farmer, but I understand the basics of it. But what you're saying was, like, everybody or people who don't farm, like, plant a seed in the right season for it to grow. If you don't plant that seed, you then have to be a consumer.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I remember what you're talking about now.
Yeah.
So I was lost for a second.
Basically, you're.
Yeah, I'm there now.
I got full circle. Here we are. So that is interesting to me because I do understand that. But I want you to go a little bit deeper in that and, you know, kind of maybe where you've came from from that perspective.
Yes. So what we were talking about in the content, and this is all found on leaf as code dot com. You can go find the content. It's out there. But what we were talking about was this idea that everything that grows, grows through process. And so everything that you need is a byproduct. Everything that you have when you need it is A by, if you look back, has been a byproduct of some process, right? And so if you needed, you know, graphic design at your business and you hired a graphic designer, there was a process that took you to get there where you could hire it so that you could have access to that resource. And so every resource is the byproduct of a process. That process is the growth process, like everything else always. And that growth happens through what is always very familiar to me is the process of farming where you planted a seed and then there's a season of waiting and working, and then there's a season of having and what you do with what you have, right? And a lot of, you know, a lot of people, as a side note, think of like the harvest season, especially if you're in like the church world, you know, everybody or the nonprofit sector, and they talk about the harvest as if that's the time where you like can finally coast and take a break and have what you need. But if you actually farm, what you know is harvest is just another. Is just the work you do in that season. It's a lot of work. Like harvesting something is a lot of work. So where the bulk of the work is, the rest of it's preparing and waiting. And so if you are find yourself in a season where you need a resource, where you are short of something, you have only two options. Go without or buy it. Because if you're already in that season and you did not plant in the previous season, you will not have what you need. And so for me, as a leader, and it's important for all the leaders listening. For me as a leader, I'm always trying to imagine what I may need in the next season and then reverse engineering what I need to plant in this season. Because what you plant and what you get are never the same. Like, you don't plant oranges in the ground, you plant orange seeds in the ground. And so you have to plant something that has the potential to grow into what you need, but you can't plant what you need. Like that's not, it's not the same thing, right? And so you plant something that has the potential to grow into what you need, and so that when you need it, you have it. If you did not have the foresight to do that when it's time and you need it, you have to become a consumer. You have to go to the resource grocery store and you have to buy a bag of oranges or eight orange or whatever. You can have whatever resources are necessary. And if you don't have the resources necessary to buy what you need. You have to do without.
Wow. Yeah.
I mean, that's, I mean, but, but I think leaders. I think the problem with that statement, and it's a true statement and I'd fight you over it. It's one of. That's one of those, like, hills I'll die on.
I agree with you.
Like, as a leader, you get a lot of pushback. Like, oh, I don't know. I think you can, you know, seasons change and times are different. Like, no, no. If you don't have it and you need it and you were not. Didn't have enough foresight as a leader. If you were a bad leader and you didn't plan it, then you have to do without. And doing without doesn't mean you can't fake it. You know, like, so you can go buy wax fruit. There's other things that you can do. We told. We've had, like, content talking about that as well. You can go buy wax fruit and have people look like you have oranges, but you, you're never going to get out of that. Anything other than the view, the optic. No nutrients, no nothing. Good for your. And you spend all your time trying to convince people of the smoke and mirrors of. No, we actually have what we need. We actually have what we need that you don't spend any time planting it. So then, you know what happens is you run that cycle out again because you get to another season and you need it some more and you still don't have it because you didn't just admit that. I did not. You didn't see your own weakness as a leader and you didn't just admit that. I just needed to plant. I should have just stopped and planted what I needed. You know, we've got resources that we're going to need in the next season, right? I don't even know what those are. I don't, I don't. I don't know if that's. We need more videography help, we need more admin help, we need more, you know, social media management, we need more ideas, we need more customer management. I have no idea what that's going to be as we scale and we grow, but we have taken, like, Mark, who's our intern, and, and he's 18 and he gets to be here with us every day. And I've mandated to every one of you guys or like department heads and running pieces of the business anytime you're doing something. And you can include Mark because I want him I don't know what tree he's going to grow into, but I know that we've planted him like seed, right? And so that I'm just hoping that as we mature him and we take care of him and we prune him and he grows that in the next season when we need resources, he's ready and available. And so, and so I take that approach with my personal development for myself, I take that in my approach with my company, personal development for you guys and growing you into the next season. And I think as a leader, that's your job. That's your job as you try to build personal development in your own life, in your company's life. If you are, especially if you are middle management, if you are like promotion seeking, if you are in the middle of your company, you have an MBA from a good school and you got hired on at XYZ Corporation and you're sort of like regional assistant to the vice president or something, you know, whatever, you're trying to move up the corporate ladder and you want a better position, then you need to be figuring out what resources that the person, the job that you have, right? Because you can, you have visibility. I see the resource, I see the resources that, the skill set that they have, so I see where I'm deficient. So I need to figure out what I need to plant to get that skill set. Okay, so you can reverse engineer it so that when the opportunity comes in the next season, you're prepared because those guys are the good leaders, always know this. And so I'm always on the hunt for seed, right? So if I know, hey, I'm gonna need a new VP of marketing next year, in the next season, I'm looking for someone who fits the bill that looks like VP of marketing, seed. And so if I, as another person, if I can see, like, okay, for me to be qualified for this position, to grow into this, I need to look like this. What am I missing? What do I need to plant to grow into that? Like everything is about growth. There's always a process of growing and changing and planting. So like seed time, harvest. Seed time, harvest, Seed time, harvest. Well, if that's the truth of the matter, then for me to be prepared to be picked, then I need to be planted. That's a great way to put that. If I'm going to be prepared to be picked, have to be prepared to.
Be planted and that, that comes down to, I guess, your mindset, right? Would you say as a person, even if you're not there on that particular Skill, your skill set.
It all starts there. I mean, everything starts with your mindset. So mindset informs habits. Habits inform actions. Well, mindset informs attitude. Attitude informs actions. Actions became habits. Habits become character. Yeah, like that's. That's how that works. Yeah. It all starts with your mindset. So if you can get the mindset not. And people want to. And people, there's always, like, they. Right. So people. People say, I don't know who these people are, but it is pervasive in our culture, this idea that you have to have this unwavering confidence in yourself. Like, don't ever let anyone tell you that you're not worth it. Like, sometimes you're not. Sometimes you're not prepared.
Yeah. You're not.
Sometimes you're not the best candidate. Sometimes that person who passed you over did so because you weren't worthy of the opportunity. Like, it's okay to say I wasn't ready. It's okay to say I didn't deserve it. It's okay. It's okay if it's true and you have a right size perspective about yourself. Right. It's not unhealthy. It's unhealthy to lie to yourself because if you lie to yourself and you continuously get passed over because you refuse to prepare and you lie to yourself, then you get resentment to the world, and it creates entitlement. And those people never go anywhere because.
You never can identify the problem because you're lying to yourself.
You're l to yourself all the time. And I can help you change it, but it's going to take humility.
Yeah.
You know, humility always. Always breeds. Humility always breeds improvement. Always.
Yeah.
So, like, that's one of those things. If I want to improve, then I've got to be humble. That's the seed. I have to plant humility so I can grow improvement.
Yeah.
And people don't take that to heart enough where they get to say, you know what? I got passed over this opportunity. And it wasn't politics, and it wasn't because Janice is his favorite. You know, I love this V. Wasn't. It wasn't all those. It wasn't all those things. Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't office.
But you'll hear all about them.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you probably did not perform well enough this quarter to deserve that promotion.
Yeah.
So go get better next quarter. But until you admit that you're gonna stay, you're gonna get passed over a lot, and you're gonna be mad at Bob because he doesn't like you. And then, guess what? Now you're gonna be a jerk in the office. And now it's gonna make your reputation worse. And now you look at this point, you're spiraling out of control, like, so you've gotta. You've got to be able admit that some things in life happen because you're not ready for them.
No, I've been to a place where, you know, just with what I do with graphics and with video and stuff like that, starting out, you know, I've encountered people who, you know, they don't want to tell you how they do certain things because that's the only thing they know how to do. And if you learn that, then they're not top of the game, whatever, so they kind of like, guard it. Which, by the way, if you're one of those people, YouTube is going to put you out of business, because that's where I went when I just did. You don't want to tell me? I can type it in Google. But, yeah, I mean, like, for me, I had this mentality. I call it the sponge mentality. And a lot of people don't want to get around people who are better than them because they feel like it just highlights the contrast between how good somebody is compared to where they're at. And for me, that. I don't think that's really ever been a thing that I've struggled with. I always see that as an opportunity to learn.
You definitely. You definitely soak up knowledge, and I love that because it's one of the reasons you're here, because I love that about, like, it's one of those things like, oh, that's an attribute I want.
Because I'm still always learning. I mean, like, when you told me, hey, man, like, this is the day before, hey, let's start. Let's do a podcast. You want to lead it? You're leading it. And I don't speak publicly. I'm not ever on camera. I don't do this. But I think the willingness, you know, I'm not gonna lie, I didn't know if I was gonna crash and burn. And I thought, you know, if you do crash and burn, it's very obvious this is not for you. But I had the willingness to do that, and I think that.
And you didn't have an option.
I didn't have an option. Well, I feel like if I was that bad, that option would have. You would have, you know. Okay, Daniel, good job, buddy. Well, we're gonna have somebody else come in, but. And luckily, you Know that hasn't happened yet, Knock on wood.
No.
But yeah. So I think that that personality is something that I've had and I, I can say I've attributed that to everything that I can do that I say I'm successful at every skill that I know. That's kind of like put me above what average is. Anybody can get Photoshop, anybody can get After Effects or Adobe premiere illustrator for 60 bucks a month. But it's like what you do and the mindset you have being around that. And so I really feel you on the humility part. What do you feel like is because you talked about, you don't know, like the scale of everything, you don't know what you'll need next summer, next year, next, you know, three months from now. Even you may not know. But I think a lot of people may hear this and think, okay, well I need to plan something now and then that's it. Like, so I did the planning check, it's done. But what I'm hearing from you is this kind of like a continual process. It's almost like buying groceries. You may buy groceries for the week, but then you're going to run out and you're going to need something different, you know, like for me, my kids are, you know, like I've got a one year old and a four year old and like my one year old just stopped drinking formula, you know, so like we've had to stop that and buy different food. And so like that's changing. And so like that's what I feel like. It's a continual thing. You continually have to adjust because you said things are different. You do have to adjust. You know, people will throw that excuse at you. Yeah, well, what, what do you, what do you see whenever you plan for that but you don't know what to plan for. Like what is your approach for that? Because you know you have to. And you know your business is going to scale maybe is that just kind of knowing your business and it's so.
It'S partly knowing your business. Right. And so because I don't know everyone's business, I'm not going to give them a lot of like specific, like, well, you've got to be this way on your marketing and blah, blah, because it changes from brand to brand and subject matter to subject matter. But there are things that win the day always. Like there are things like, so one of my favorite like posters is things like 10 things that don't take take a degree. Showing up on time, having a good attitude, you know, working with passion, like those. There's 10 things like, and you can. And you can do, you know, complimenting people, like being. Being a team player, like those things. So there are things that win no matter what, right? And so good culture means you win no matter what. Having courage means you no matter. You win no matter what. And then, you know, at a big picture level, business is business. And so from a business standpoint, I try to focus on just big picture things. What are planting. So, you know, we talk about the fact that the first thing you have to do to run a business is be attractive. And so, and we define that here at Lead Fast as value and relevance. And we talk about the value, Value that you give, the value that you bring and the value that you leave. And so, you know, the value that you give just showing up, what did you bring to the table? What did you give? Like, did you do a giveaway? Did you, like, did you give away free product? Did you give away free knowledge? Did you give away free subject matter expertise? Like, what did you give that immediately added value? What did you bring so that during the relationship you maintained a balance of value where you were the most important person in the room to that particular client or customer. And then when you left, what did you leave them with that had sustaining value that makes them want to leave? So, like, value that you bring, value that you give and value that you leave. And so we talk about that. So I can plan for that. I can plan for that in every business I can. Like, we have, you know, Mackenzie's checking on it today, but we have hopefully coming in the mail today or tomorrow these swag boxes. Oh, yeah, right.
Yeah.
So swag boxes. And so it's a T shirt and a coffee mug and a water bottle and some, you know, it's socks. We've got cool socks. Like. Like, it's just a swag box. It's this little bat box of like lead Fast stuff. We have those because we want to bring that we want to bring a gift. Like, when we meet a new customer, we need a new client. We have a new person that's going to be an affiliate for us. We want to send them these swag boxes just to bring value and then we want to maintain a relationship with them. Like, so specifically the affiliate program. So we'll just talk about that because there's some of these people listening. If you've got a social media following or you run a business or you want us to, like, so we have an affiliate program where we will, you know, let you Promote our company, ask you to promote being so thankful that you promote our company. Let's say that correctly. We're gonna bring value by just in the introduction of the relationship. We're give you a swag box so you feel like you're part of the family here too. We want you to be able to identify with us because you are, you're now part of the family. You're going to be part of our culture. We're going to do some celebrations, we're going to do some fun stuff. But then we also want to bring value. So we want to tap into what you're doing with your business and your social media and we want to bring value to you so you have unprecedented access to me that the general public doesn't get. You can always go order a class and take some knowledge. But if you're an affiliate, you get one on one time. I'll do this with you. Right. So we're bringing value. We're going to be leaving value as well, though. So when you leave lead fast or when you stop being affiliate, you're always going to have lifetime access to the content. So you're always going to have the ability to go back and listen again and go back through it and do the worksheets and stuff like that. So we want to make the affiliate program super valuable. But if you want to be an affiliate, you can reach out to MacKenzie, and then that's Mac with a K. So M, A C, K, E, N, z, I, e McKenzie with a z McKenzieadfastcode.com and she'll set you up. But you know, that's the same, that's the same thing. And every business can plan for that. Every business can plant that. Every business can, can farm out those concepts of as, as a right underneath us in our offices, we have like a, a boutique that sells housewares and clothes and stuff like that. You know, it's really like, it's called High Cotton. It's like a southern sort of themed store. And they have like, you know, BO with Welcome to the Lake written on it and stuff like that. It's really like really neat kind of stuff. And my wife loves that store. And so. But you know, they could, they could take those same concepts and go, all right, when we interact with a customer, what are we going to bring? Like, what are we going to bring? What value are we going to give? Right, Give away. And so, you know, as a customer, you could walk in and get a sample. You could walk in and get a cupcake. They could be the store that's always known for fresh baked goods when you walk in, and this wonderful lemonade mix because it's a very Southern thing. Right. So I'm just making. They don't.
I'll buy an orphan.
I hope they're not even, like, they don't even watch our podcast, probably, but I'm just reinventing their business. But they could be known as the, as the store that gives away baked goods when you come in. People would come in just for their baked goods, Right. Especially if they're good. You get a high value and then they could bring value. So they could be the store that, like, you know, bring in a picture of your room that you're trying to do, and you're gonna sit down with our owner that is a. She's an interior designer by trade, and she's gonna go, ooh, let me make some about what's in here. Based on what I'm seeing on this picture, I'm going to bring value while you're in the store, and then I'm going to write you up a list of things that I think you could add. And I'm going to put you on our mailing list for, like, products that also fit that same genre. And I'm going to send that to you every month. So now I'm leaving value and I haven't bought anything and it hasn't cost them anything to do that. But that customer experience is completely different than going in and shopping.
Right. I almost want to get downstairs and you need to listen to this. That's good. And by the way, since we're on that, you're talking about the website. You also said that, you know, like, you wouldn't comment on people's business specifically because you don't know them. But he can comment on this. If you send a question into, you send it to me danieleadfastco.com or you can send it into our Instagram or Facebook and just like sometimes we'll, hey.
What'S the Instagram handle?
It's lead fastco. I butchered it last episode, but I got it today.
That's right.
So, yeah, just send a direct message. Sometimes we'll do like a little poll, but anytime that you feel like you have a question you want answered, we'll try to get to them. Instagram, Facebook is a good resource to do that. And then also you can email me daniellefastco.com and I'll make sure it gets into the right hands, which is my hands, because I'm the one asking the questions. Right.
I'll tell you, that will be in the right hands. Yeah.
But that's a great. That's great for people who are just, you know, have general questions that.
Yeah.
You know. Yeah. So let's do. You ready to move on? You have something you want to add to that?
Yeah, we can. We can. It's almost time to do cards. Yeah. So we have a little, like, counting clock here. Like, so we have a little display. We have a counting clock. And when it gets to, like, 22 minutes, I start sweating a little bit because I know the cards are coming.
Yeah.
So, but my. My way of getting through pressure situations is to jump into them, so I'm sort of like, let's do this card thing.
Well, you actually. You asked for the yellow one last time, so we're not gonna give you one this time.
I didn't realize what I was doing. Yellow. The yellow ones were bad yellow cards.
They're the bad. We call them bad cards, but they're just really, like, deep. Yeah. Personal. They get up in your business and make you feel some sort of way. But. So I'm gonna give you the light.
Blue cards because light blue seems less threatening.
Yeah, it does. I may be wrong about this. Oh, well. No, no, no.
Okay, good.
What three people in your life do you envy professionally? And why? Do you notice any patterns? Oh, actually, I'm saying that wrong. Why? And do you notice any patterns?
Gotcha. So envy professionally. So John Acuff, for you guys that don't know him, John Acuff is his. John Acuff, I think is his Instagram, but it's J O N. But he's like Roy Acuff's great nephew or something. Like, he's so just. The Acuff name is the Acuff that you've probably heard of, but he's a sort of sought after motivational speaker. He's written a couple of amazing books. One called Finish, one called Quitter, one called Do Over. So if you're like, I wonder what.
Those books are about.
Yeah. Yeah. So if you. If you feel like you're in middle management and you can't find a way out of your business, out of your company, and you want, like, and you want to do something passionate that you're passionate about, go read Quitter. If you are in the bottom of fail. If you just started something and it failed and you need, like, to figure out what to do next, do over is an incredible book. And then if you have started a project and you. Or you just always, like, Struggle with finishing. Like me Finish is a incredible book. But yeah, he has such a natural sort of effortless way about his sense of humor and his own self awareness and he's so. I feel like he has an air of humility, but he also is like very like self aware and open about like his, his own like, insecurities and how his wife calls him out on things from time to time. And like, he's just very open about that relationship. He's got two, like, you know, smart, talented daughters and like, just seeing him raise a family and do this thing and be an entrepreneur, it's like, it's very inspiring. So I envy his ability to balance all that stuff. He's. He's a. He's good at the balance part of things and so. Or he appears to be from Instagram.
Yeah, no, I, I know John Ace.
I got to, I got to be his chauffeur one time as he was speaking at an event and I got to like spend 15 minutes with him driving him back to the airport. He's a. He's, he's as genuine in person as he is.
By the way, I don't know John Acuff. I know of John Acif.
So him. So he'd be one. You know, I'm not. Envy is a bad word. I have a lot of appreciation and like, respect for guys. I don't envy anybody. I wouldn't want to be anybody but me. I like who I am. It's a good answer, you know, like, but like Gary Vaynerchuk, obviously, he's my dude. Gary Vee is my dude. I don't even mind that he cusses. Like, I just don't even care.
Yeah.
You know, one. I mean, I love Jesus, but I cuss too. So, you know, like, I just edit. Yeah, but like, no, that's that whole thing where it's like, I just like, he's.
It's.
So few people have been on the same message saying the same things so consistently as Gary Vee. And he is as. He's both sides of the equation. He's all hustle and he's all empathy and he's. And it's, it's not like he's alpha male and sympathetic believer in other people. He can be the best without having to crush you. Yeah, and he talks about that. He talks about there's two ways to have the tallest building in the city is like to build a taller building or knock down everyone else's. And he's like, I'm just not a Knock down everyone else's guy. And so Gary Vaynerchuk is also one of my, like, faves. Him and him and Kevin Hart are on my, like, list of folks to meet this year. I thought I had it done last year. You know, we're here in the Masters, and Andrew and I owned an entertainment venue and a bar here in the. In the city last year during the Masters tournament. And he has a new wine label called Empathy Wines. And we. We had this. I was trying to work this deal.
Kevin. Kevin Desert.
Gary V. Gary Vee is a wine company called Empathy Wines, and it's great, by the way. Fantastic wine. Go buy all of it. But Empathy has a great rose and red. And so we were trying to get them into, like, Taste of the Masters. And, like, I was. I was just trying to broker. I legitimately just contacted the head of that company, the CEO of Empathy Wines. I was like, hey, bro, I'm here. I have a lot of connects. I'll do whatever I can to get you guys in. Like, what can we do? I started without him even answering yet. Started shopping stuff like opportunities, start planting the seed. I was just. I was working on their behalf for free because I just wanted to. I wanted. I wanted more than anything for Gary Vee to know who I was and that I was helpful so that one day we could have a conversation. Like, so that's. So that's what that was. And so. And I know that the conversation will happen one day. I wanted something to talk about.
I can't even imagine you. I mean, like, that would be the most. I want to be a fly on the wall for that. I mean, seriously.
Yeah. Like, so put me, Gary Vee, and Kevin Hart in the room for an hour and just turn on the cameras.
Oh, man.
I'll just. This and you'll turn on the cameras, because this will be the one time for an hour solid, I won't say a word.
The thing is, is, like, you are so much to me like Gary Vaynerchuk. And, you know, like, I've not. I've only heard Kevin Hart stand up, so I know he's. He's an entrepreneur stuff, so.
Good.
But if you, like, you ever. You ever, like, had these people who you, like, walk into at a party and they have these really deep conversations and you know nothing about what they're talking about. So you just kind of have to like, back out real slowly after about.
A minute, realizing that, yeah, I'm a part of a group, that everybody in the group makes me feel that way.
Yeah, well, that's what I feel like, you and I, Kevin, you and Gary Vaynerchuk would be. Because you guys would just start talking, and I think your personalities mesh so well. It would be fun just based on, you know, like, knowing you, but also seeing Gary's personality. Okay, so that's. That's too. Unless you're counting Kevin Hart. No.
So Kevin's on my list of people to me. But so. But Kevin's one of those guys I appreciate, but I don't. I don't. He's not in my lane. I don't want to be Kevin Hart. You know, like, that's. It's not one of those things where it's like, I'm striving to emulate that now. He does. He's an incredible businessman, and so he has a lot of things that you should admire and, like, just try to be like him and emulate. But there's a. There's a guy, and he's a. He's a pastor in Oklahoma named Tony Miller. And he. For a long time, like, he was one of my mentors. Is one of my mentors. Mentors. But he is the best. Like, he just has a way about teaching things. He's the best teacher of any subject matter, period. You know, and he obviously teaches scripture, but he's the best teacher I've ever heard, ever, period. And that guy, for me is like, has such a command of his subject matter. He has such a command of an audience. He has such a command of whatever environment. And I've seen him speak to thousands and thousands of people, and I've seen him speak to two, and he never changes, and it's captivating. And, you know, part of that's probably what he's doing and what he's talking about. And the fact that he so believes that there's life change there, and then part of that is just his talent level at that thing. And for me, that's definitely someone I go. That's the level I aspire to be to one day speaking to audiences and being able to teach people and inspire and reach. So, yeah, so those three people would be, you know.
See, that wasn't a hard question.
Johnny Cuff, Gary. Gary Veran Chuck and Tony Miller would probably be my three guys.
Okay.
Off the cuff.
If you had one superpower, what would it be?
Oh, man, you can get crazy with it.
I'm asking. This isn't a car. I just want to know.
There's so many good ones.
I know. That's why I'm saying One good ones.
I want to say time travel, but.
Oh, I never thought about time.
Say, time travel would be good, but I would be terrified of what it would do. Like, especially if you went into the Butterfly effect thing. Like, you know, like.
Well, let's just say you're good at it. You can time travel and part of your superpower is.
Oh, if I can time travel and control. Yeah, Time travel all day long.
Really?
Yeah, of course.
Why? What specifically? You. Just curious.
Can you get hurt?
No. You can. No, no, no.
You can't hear it ever. Yeah. Like, it's like invincibility. Yeah. So somebody would say invincibility.
Right.
Okay.
I think.
Can you get hurt? No, not if you can time travel, because you could always just take yourself out. Yeah, yeah. No, like, you could be. You're Superman. You're. You're in. You're, you know, immortal at that point. Right. And then could. Do you need to be. You could be Iron man, you could be Tony Stark. Because I could go into the future, see what the stocks are going to do, come back, make the right bets, make all the money, and then if you have all the money, you have all the influence. And so now I can control. Not control. I can impact the world in a positive way because I have all the. I'm basically Rupert Murdoch. So now I have all the money and I can see how the things play out. I could test scenarios. I could go, I want to make this decision, decide to make the decision and then just go into the future and see how that all worked out for me and then come back and fix decisions. Like, in my brain, it's gone a million ways already.
For real. I mean, I'm thinking, fly, breathe underwater, be the richest man. But no, this is interesting. I just thought about, what if there was a movie plot where someone had that power? And, like, let's say somebody came in the door right now and, you know, pulled out a gun and was going to shoot, but you stopped, rewound it went all the way back, and that was your superpower. Somewhere down the way, something devolved.
Like, yeah, you'd be able to see how everything plays out.
That's.
And then make a better decision. And so for me, I really do believe that every. Like, we talk about this a lot. Like, one of the questions we've had is, what and what do you. What decisions do you need make today that impact the next year? Like, no, I think decisions are longer timelines than that. I'm trying to make decisions today that affect the next decade and I could literally play out all the decisions.
Yeah, that plays right into your hands.
Yeah. Yeah. So, like, for me, like, at that point, bro, like, time travel would be the one. Like, it wouldn't matter what else superpowers existed and who had them. I'd be the winner.
I wish you could have done that and then got me off of that.
Nicholas stock a couple weeks ago.
That'd been great.
I told you to get off the nickel stock.
You also told me to get on it, but I didn't get off of it when you told me to get off of it because I thought, tommy's wrong. This is going to keep going up.
It didn't.
It did not go up. Yeah. Well, I guess that's it. I've got more questions. I will wait. We'll save them.
