Hey guys, what's going on? This is Tommy Wofford and I just want to say welcome to Vfast. This is my gift to the rest of the world. I believe that there are only two ways to learn in life. Mentors and mistakes. And mentor taught me that by watching me make a ton of mistakes, staying right there with me as I recovered from them, and then helping me realize the lessons that kind of live inside of your mistakes and making sure that I did get them so that I didn't repeat them later. But listen, I 100% credit mentorism for saving my professional life, my personal life. I have an entrepreneurial spirit. Some of you guys do too, right? Like, you just, you're out there, that's why you're even here trying to figure out like, what do I do with my business? What do I do with my life? I want to be my own boss. I want to be the captain of my ship. I want to be the master of my own destiny. All those things, right? Everybody gets excited about, but what do I do with that? Or look, I've tried this twice already and I failed. I might be bankrupt. Whatever position you're in, I'm here to tell you that I've been there. I know what that feels like. I've been down on the eating top ramen diet for years with a wife and a 1 year old and living on a thousand dollars a month. I get it. I know what that feels like. And then I also know the other end of that. Last year our software company had a great exit and now life just looks different for. And I get to make for the second pivotal time, the decision, what do I want to do for the rest of my life? 10 years ago I made that decision and I said, what do I want to do for the rest of my life? I want to run businesses, I want to take control of my future. I want, as Gary Vaynerchuk would say, I'm going to capitalize on the one thing that I can control and that's my hustle. I'm going to make that the thing that makes the difference. I'm going to be in control of the output. So I made that decision and then 10 years later, we're in a different spot. And now I get to say again, what do I want to do for the rest of my life? And for me, that answer is really simple. I want to spend the rest of my life helping people discover the same level of mental, emotional and on some level, financial freedom that I've discovered through hustle, through hard Work through creativity, through good business. And the good news is, I believe anybody can do it. Not because. Not because it's easy, because it's not. It's incredibly hard. I believe anyone can do it because we can systemize it. So it may take you 10, 20, 30x, more time, more energy, more effort than it took me. It might take you half the energy it took me. You may come at this at a lot higher level of competency at business than I did. I've never run a business before when I started my first one, which is probably why it failed miserably. You're going to hear all those stories. I want Lead Fast Company to be a platform where you can hear good, bad, ugly, all the things, but that you can also look at all the lessons we learned because, man, we were really great at cataloging our experience, right? We were really great at saying, oh, this didn't work. Here's what would have worked. Let's try that next time. And when it did work, we said, all right, let's create a system around it and let's never deviate. And I'm telling you the truth here, guys. We took those lessons and we were able to encapsulate them into several principles and have now taking them out of software into the real, the analog world. We own a bar. Me and my business partner, we own a bar. That thing went from losing money year over year. We bought it, we ran it as its own concept. Then the concept that we bought for eight months, it lost money in eight months. And so I finally said, hey, listen, we've got to take what we learned here, put it there, and boom. And now in just four months, it's the hottest spot to be in our city. It's just crazy. Like, I'm telling you, the system works, and I'll prove it to you because I'm not going to sell it to you. I never want this to be a platform where you have to come and say, for the knowledge I have to pay. That's just dumb. I'm not going to tell you anything that you can't learn by making your own mistakes. And I understand that there's value there, but I am so inspired by other guys who have made it, like, way, way higher than I consider. What make it to be is Gary Vaynerchuk has his own shoe line, like, legit. That guy rewrote the top for me. Like, I always want to be at the top. I'm super competitive. And so, like, oh, once I get to this amount of money or I Make it to this threshold or I get respected in these circles. Well, then maybe that's the top. Gary Vaynerchuk is a shoe line, bruh. Like a shoe line. So Nike, come talk to me. I want to. I want a shoe line. But I love shoes. I just do. That's my weakness. If you know me. So Nike, I'm waiting. I'll give the phone number at the bottom or something. Here's the difference. What I've learned about business, anybody can do. And I'm gonna help you do it. Like legit. I'll walk you through it. We can do coaching calls. I really want to spend the rest of my life helping other people figure this out. It's what I want to do. So you want to take me up on it? Hit me up. There's a contact page. That's what Lead Fast Company is all about. If you want me to come talk to your managers, listen. I grew a company with no business experience in 2017, based from Georgia Trend magazine. We were the number three place to work in the state of Georgia. We're the only company in our city, which is the second largest city in the state of Georgia on the list. And 26, 27 employees at that time based in different places. We had an incredible, incredible culture. I understand what it means to build good company culture. I understand what it means to create a team that wants to win more than anything else. And I understand how to do that without having to motivate them with the almighty dollar. Right. I can create family for you. I can show you how to do that. I can show you how to appropriately value the people that work for you and get the best out of them. And not for the sake of the win, but for the sake of them being the happiest people on the planet to give you their lives because they know you'll give them yours. And so we can do all those things. I'd love to talk with you about it. Like I said, go hit up the contact page. This is the first video that we're going to put out, but there are lots more to come if you'll stay tuned. I'm literally going to end this and launch right into a video about the five things. There's only five things you need to know to run a business. Everything else is micro. It's the dirt. As Gary would say, like, it's the dirt. But there are only five things at the cloud level, at the macro level, way up high, the 30,000 foot view. There's only five things that you have to know, if you're selling oranges or selling software or somewhere in between if you're selling plumbing supplies and, you know, Timbuk tube, it doesn't matter. All the macro elements of a business are all the same. There's a couple of, like, five steps. There's some math that gets involved from making the leap from one step to the other. That's super, super simple. And then we can get into your specific industry, how that applies to you, what things you can do. But it's super easy. I hope you hit that video, too. It's coming up next. I'll be the same. Close. I don't even care. Super inspired. I've been putting off getting started. Right. I've been procrastinating because of perfection. I just want to. I want to get the offices done. I want to be able to shoot this. Well. Like, I literally have my laptop stacked up on, like, three journals now to make it high enough to record. I've got cameras laying around the office that I just. It's just me in here today and I couldn't get them all running. Whatever. I'm just going to do it on my laptop. I'm not going to let perfection stop you getting the content. So the audio quality is not where we want it. We're going to get better at that. Video quality is not where we want it. Going to get better at that. Don't sweat any of that stuff. Welcome to Lead Fast Code. Let's get working on your business.
