Gorilla is a testnet or a test network, a decentralized computing network whose ledger is separate from the main Ethereum ledger, and in this case transactions don't mix, so your transaction is not going to show up in the Ethereum mainnet ledger, but it's going to show up for the test network. So those 2 don't mix because one is fake money or fake Ethereum, and then the other is actual Ethereum that it— you can convert into currency, for example, right? So the 2 do not cross. It also runs on different consensus systems, proof of authority, rather than the Ethereum network which runs on proof of stake. So proof of stake for Ethereum mainnet and proof of authority for the Gorilla Network because that one is test network, right? So I'll just go through how you can get these ETH and use it in your applications or use it in your development purposes here. So let's get started. So the first thing you want to do is go to goeriliefaucet.com and you'll see the link down below here. Alchemy accounts are temporarily required. So you would need an Alchemy account before you can request the ETH here, test ETH. Let me just be clear about that. If you go to the frequently asked questions, you can find out more information. And it also says that you can request 0.2 Goerli ETH every 24 hours with a free Alchemy account. The first thing that's very obvious here is we need to get a free Alchemy account. And to do that, you can come here to www.alchemy.com. And from there, you can either sign up if you don't have an account, but for my case, I do have an account. So I'll just go back and log into my account. So once you make the account or even log into your account, the next thing you wanna do is log in on this Alchemy login right here on the main site. And it will take a minute to log in. So the next thing you wanna do is get your Ethereum wallet that you want to fund. In this case, go to your MetaMask account. If you don't have one, I created a video on how you can get that. If you go to my previous videos, you'll see how to make that account. All right, from here what you want to do is you want to copy your account. First of all, make sure that you're in account that you want. So what you want to do is go to your account, pick the account you want. So you click on copy to clipboard, you click on it, it'll copy your account, which is hexadecimal, and then you just paste it on here. So Ctrl+V if you're using Windows. Click on send me ETH and it's going to load and it's going to have this beautiful matrix-looking type of Animation going on here. While this is loading, you can just go and follow your transaction on Ethoscan just to see what's happening with the transaction. And you can see it's loading and it's a success. So we should have 0.2 Ether in our wallet. So let's go to our wallet address. And as you can see here, so we've received 0.2 Gorilla ETH, which is equivalent to $283.94 USD.
