Short YouTube advice from Chandler (a former college quarterback) about how to get more responses from college coaches via DMs and email. Chandler emphasizes the primary goal is to get coaches to watch your highlight video, not to tell your life story or list achievements in the message. He suggests keeping outreach very short and providing just enough context so coaches will click the video; he also promotes a free spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches' emails via his bio.

So you're struggling to get responses from coaches to your DMs, to your email. This is how you can fix that immediately and get more responses. And if you don't know who I am, I'm Chandler, where I'm a former college quarterback. So be sure to follow for more content like this. Also, if you want a free spreadsheet, 6,000 plus college coaches emails and all you have to do is click the link in my bio and get it all for free. So the biggest thing you need to do is make sure you're clear on what you're even trying to do in these emails and DMs. Most people think that the goal is to get responses back or to like, get a college football scholarship or to like, just shove so much stuff in their face and explain why this and this happened and what's going on with them right now. Ultimately, your only goal is to get them to watch your video and then hopefully you get a response from that. The two things you can do to make that happen is keep it really short and to the point. So that way all they have to do is learn a little bit about you so they have some context going into the video. That way there's not a bunch of text in between, you know, the greeting to the email or to the actual video of it, which should be your highlights and should be something short so that way they don't have to watch.
