I skipped class to get a college football scholarship offer. So I started talking to this one school. They were super far away. I was from California, they were in Iowa. Wasn't too sure what to think of them, but the coach seemed like a great guy, seemed like an interesting program, and I had no offers at the time. They came by school one day, met the coach, exchanged numbers, ended up going to some kind of thing at a barn somewhere else. The head coach was there, got to meet him. Seemed like a possible place for me to end up. Anyway, long story short, I end up talking to the coach continually through the course of the season. We finish up the season, I give my film to them. They still seem interested, so I'm pretty excited. And we discuss about potentially coming out for a visit at this point, it's December. I've already booked my flight for the visit and everything. But they finished their season two, so they're sending out coaches to come visit kids and check in. So the main coach I'm talking to, he explains this all to me and says, hey, Coach, blah blah blah, is going to go come out and visit you. So I'm like, cool, awesome. Sounds great. I exchanged numbers with the new coach and we get to introduce ourselves. He lets me know that he's going to come to school the next day. I'm super pumped. It's going to be a good time. Then comes the.
