A short YouTube advice clip by Trenton Luera aimed at high-school college-football recruits about choosing which camps to attend. Luera warns against non-college-affiliated "exposure" camps and recommends attending college-run camps where coaches will be in attendance. He instructs recruits to get the list of attending schools/coaches beforehand and to contact coaches ahead of the camp to confirm interest, saving time and money. Ends with a prompt to DM him on Instagram for a spreadsheet of coach emails and to follow for more tips.

What camps to go to as a college football recruit before I dive into it. If you want 6000 plus college coaches emails in just a simple spreadsheet, then DM me the word camps on Instagram and I'll. First off, we'll talk about the camps you shouldn't be going to. You shouldn't be going to any non college associated camp. Those exposure camps, all that nonsense, it's not worth it because you're not even really getting seen by college. What you should be doing is going to real college camps put together by these colleges where there are coaches attendance by certain schools and you'll have all that information beforehand. With that information, you want to reach out to these coaches ahead of time and let them know that you're attending the camp. Hopefully you get some kind of response and then you know there's some level of interest before you even show up to the camp. This is exactly what we do with the recruits I work with because the last thing we want is to waste our time, energy or money on camps that we know there's going to be no level of interest at. So before you go to a camp, make sure to contact the coaches and get some kind of response beforehand. If you want more recruiting tips like this, be sure to follow for more.
