This is how to make your highlights look D1 in less than 30 minutes. Step 1 Take out any title screens. You may think a title screen helps you, but it actually hurts you as it wastes five to ten seconds on stuff a coach should already know when coming into the highlight video. Step 2 Cut the clips as short as possible. College coach is only going to watch the first 30 seconds to a minute long and you need to save that time as much as possible to squeeze as much of your best plays in. Step 3 Take out any slo mo or music your highlight tape isn't there for for looks, you're trying to impress college coaches with your actual play. Step 4 Focus on quality, not quantity. The quality of your plays are what's important in a highlight video, not the quantity or amount or length of the highlight. A coach is looking to see your best plays, not just a group of average plays. Step 5 Order your play starting with your best first. Like I mentioned earlier, a coach is only going to watch the first 30 seconds to a minute long, so you want to make sure your best plays are there first to grab their attention and make sure that they want to recruit you. So go implement this five step process. Make your highlights look D1 and get more interest from college coaches.
