Do as much as you can

These are the four stupidest mistakes I made in high school while I was trying to get recruited. Despite making these mistakes, I still talked to hundreds of college coaches and received 25 plus scholarship offers. The first one is I didn't look at all the opportunities out there and this is a big one. I see with pretty much every recruiter out there. Be open to all the opportunities. Juco Prep School D3, D2, D1 doesn't matter, just check it out. Be open minded. Number two is I was way too scared to post myself more on Twitter. I literally just talked to the coach the other day and he said sometimes hey recruit, just pop into our feed, we check them out and we instantly start recruiting right away. He so be sure to post yourself on Twitter. My third is I didn't send enough emails and DMs to college coaches and this is coming from someone who sent hundreds every single day. Despite that, I still think I could have sent a little bit more. So continue to put yourself out there even when you think you did enough. The fourth and last is I didn't ask enough questions to coaches as I should have. Questions are a great way to engage in conversation, build relationships and cut closer to the truth. I was way too passive sometimes in my recruiting and don't make that same mistake. If you like listening to this then be sure to follow for more recruiting tips like this.
