Trenton Luera (former college quarterback) gives concise recruiting advice for athletes seeking college coaching attention. He frames the task as building a "recruiting brand" composed of three prioritized elements—social media presence, the direct messages sent to college coaches, and video (highlights) quality—and warns that weaknesses in any of the three can derail recruiting interest. He also offers a free spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches' emails via a link in his bio.

This is what you need to focus on to generate more interest, more conversations and more scholarship offers from college coaches. If you're new here, don't know who I am. I'm Trent Laura. I'm a former college quarterback. So be sure to follow for more content like this. And also if you want a free spreadsheet of 6,000 plus college coaches emails, then all you have to do is click the link in my bio, get it for free. So the way I look at it is you need to focus on your recruiting brand. I'm not talking about in the logo sense, weirdo way. I'm talking about these three things. Number one, your social media. Number two, the messages that you send to college coaches and number three, your video. There's things like your highlights. You need to dial in those three things because if a college coach comes across you, they're either going to come across your social media a more indirect way or they're going to come across your messages in a more direct way or. And then eventually they're going to have to look at your video and evaluate you. So you need to make sure that all three pieces of those are as good as they possibly can because if you miss out on some opportunity, it's going to be because of those. Because if your social media can reel them in, but then your video is not good enough, they're not really going to want to recruit you at that point.
