A short YouTube monologue by Trenton Luera listing the top five reasons high-school players fail to get college football recruitment responses. The speaker offers a free spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches' emails, then begins a countdown: #5 size (physical limitations affect level of school interest), #4 poor Twitter profile (makes it hard for coaches to find highlights/info), and #3 poor highlights (bad ordering/editing). The video aims to diagnose common recruiting mistakes and give actionable fixes to increase scholarship opportunities.

These are the top five reasons right now why your recruiting sucks. And you're not getting responses from college coaches. And no, it's not because you suck at football. Honestly, as long as you're decent, you can get recruited to play college football. But before we dive into this, if you want a free spreadsheet of 6,000 plus college coaches emails, then you have to do is go to the link in my bio, get it for free. Alright, so let's dive into it. Let's start with number five. We've got size. Size is going to be a limiting factor in your recruiting. It's definitely not going to kill your chances at getting recruited. But the worse your size is, the worse schools that are going to be able to recruit you. Just because a small kid's not going to be able to make it out of D1 unless you're extremely, extremely talented. Number four, your Twitter profile sucks. If your Twitter profile is terrible, college coaches are going to come across it and they're going to have no idea where to find your highlights. Any more information about you and they're just going to probably skip on you go to the next kid. So you need to make sure that Twitter profile is dialed so that way you can maximize that attention for college coaches and turn it into actual interest and scholarship offers. Number three, your highlights suck. It's not even necessarily that like your play suck, but just you ordered it poorly, it's edited poorly.
