Athletic scholarships are worth tens of thousands of dollars, if not hundreds. Thousand plus. And honestly, you can get one without any connections, without relying on your high school coach or even going to a bunch of camps and showcases. But the key is you need to focus on these four things to get an athletic scholarship. But before we dive into that, if you want daily content on how to get recruited and get scholarship offers, be sure to follow for more. So the number one thing is a game plan. Trying to get a scholarship without a game plan is like driving without GPS or a map. You need to figure out, where do you actually want to play at, how are you going to get in touch with the schools that you want to play at, and what is the most efficient way to actually do that. If you don't do those three things, then yeah, you might be able to accomplish your goal, getting a scholarship. But it's going to be really bumpy and there's no guarantee that you're going to actually get there because you're just guessing. Number two is you have to market yourself. You ultimately have to get known by college coaches. You have to get in front of them, because if you don't, then they have no idea who you are and you can't really get a scholarship offer if coach doesn't know who you are. Number three is you're going to have to build relationships. This is a key part.
