Three reasons why you need to get good grades to get recruited to play college football. A lot of people just don't understand reason number two. So you're going to watch till that because it's essential piece of the recruiting process. First, if you don't know who I am, I'm Trent Lawyer. I'm a former college quarterback and now I help recruits just like you get college football scholarships. So let's dive in. Everybody hears us saying, hey, you need to take care of in the classroom. Good grades are essential. Obviously you have to stay eligible for your own high school. So getting good grades is a big piece of that. But reason number one, why it's important to recruit is because it shows coaches that you can handle your business. If you can't take care of it in the high school classroom, how are you going to handle all the distractions? Because even if you went to a big high school, going to an even bigger college, the distractions multiply. And so if you can't handle your business when you're there from 8am to 3pm Then how are you going to handle your business when no one's there holding your hand, having, having you go to class and your schedule's all over the place. Plus you got even longer hours of football. So taking care of in the classroom just shows coaches that, hey, this guy's a good dude, he can handle stuff. And this should translate to when he gets to college. Now, reason number two is gets.
