How to stand out at a college camp and get actual scholarship offers. Now, what most people will tell you is be super gimmicky, wear bright clothes, stand out, be super loud and boisterous. I'm against all of that. What I like to do instead, and what I've taught all of our families inside. Your first scholarship is to follow the camp process. So this starts weeks, months, even, sometimes over a year before the camp even happened. And so it's building relationships ahead of time, knowing which camps to attend, because you know coaches are going to be looking at you. So that's the thing you have to understand about college camps, is that no matter how well you perform, if coaches aren't looking at you, if they aren't paying attention to you, then you can do so, so well. And so you need to establish the relationships ahead of time so that you can get the attention that you ultimately deserve at the camp. Yes, you can wear bright clothes. You can be louder and whatnot. I'm not really a big fan of that. But at the end of the day, you just want to make sure the coaches are eyes are still on you, that you're talking to coaches during it. Then after the camp, the post camp process starts where you need to be talking to as many coaches as possible. After the camp.
