Short YouTube advice clip by Trenton Luera outlining three mistakes that harm spring college-football recruiting: (1) "playing the patience game" — waiting while coaches evaluate, (2) wasting or skipping Junior Days (in-person or virtual), and (3) relying on camps as a late 'rescue' when coaches' boards are already set. Ends with a CTA to click the link in his bio for help obtaining a scholarship.

Three mistakes that kill your spring recruiting season. Number one Playing the patience game. Spring is when coaches are actively evaluating, but most families sit back and wait while other players are taking their spots. Number two Wasting Junior Days. Coaches are inviting you to campus, but you treat it like a tour or just don't attend it at all. Even if it's a virtual Junior Day. Do everything you can to show that you're serious about that program and you can use it as a chance to build relationships. We've had recruits turn situations like virtual Junior Days into major interest, so don't pass up on that opportunity. Number three the Camp Rescue plan. Just show out at camps, but by then it's too late. Coaches already have their board set and so if you're not on their board, then you're not going to get their full attention at the camp. Now, if you're ready to stop making these common mistakes and ready to take your recruiting process to the next level and get a guaranteed scholarship, then click the link in my bio.
