A short advisory video arguing the NCAA recruiting "dead period" is actually critical for prospects. The speaker explains that in-person contact is prohibited but digital contact (X, email, phone) remains allowed and coaches intensively evaluate players then. Advice: use the time to increase exposure, contact new coaches, share film to get on recruiting boards before camps begin. The clip ends with a brief pitch for a service that helps players contact coaches.

The recruiting dead period is a lot. Everyone stops recruiting in the dead period. This is the biggest mistake ever. Here's why. Because this dead period is actually one of the most important periods in your whole recruiting. Now, what most people see is this word dead. And what dead means is that they can't in person contact you. They're not coming by your school, and you can't stop by their school for visits. But this means that digital contact can still be there. That means you can still talk to them via X, email, phone call, it doesn't matter. And this also means that they're heavily evaluating players during this time. So. So how can you make the most of this important period? You need to be increasing your exposure. This isn't going to be a real relationship building heavy time. You're trying to get in touch with new coaches, show them their film so that way you can get evaluated and hopefully get on their board. Because by the time camps start coming up, they're already going to have made initial evaluations and know exactly who they're looking for. And if you're not on that list, then it's going to be very hard to break into it. If you're looking to increase their exposure and get in touch with college coaches with ease, we have a full system that does it all for.
