Short advice video (YouTube) about college football recruiting focusing on how to interpret early offers. The speaker explains that coaches cannot make official (committable) offers until August 1 of a recruit’s senior year, so offers made earlier are unofficial/invitations to prove yourself. He recommends asking the offering coach whether the offer is committable, continuing to improve to move up a coach’s depth/priority board, and not stressing about the number of offers—quality and fit matter more.

Coaches are lying about early offers that junior year offer. It's not what you think. Here's the truth. Coaches cannot offer Official offers until August 1st in your senior year. That means anything before this time is unofficial and also most likely uncommittable, meaning you can't even commit to that offer today. So really, these offers are invitations to prove yourself, showing that they are seriously interested in you. But you have to hold up your end of the bargain as well. So number one, ask the coach that offered you, is your offer committable? This will give you a clear idea of where you're at with them because you may be number four on their board, meaning that there are three guys, if they commit, they will take the offer from them over you, meaning that offer is completely uncommittable and most likely won't even be committable in the future. And number two, you need to continue proving your worth. You may be able to rise the ranks on that board and turn an uncommittable offer into a committable offer if you do the right things. And this is also to say that if you don't have an offer, don't get too stressed about it. Because at the end of the day, it's not about the number of offers, it's about.
