These are three tips to get good grades as a student athlete in high school. And this is coming from someone who played multiple sports in high school and graduated with a 4.19 GPA. Number one pay attention in class. I know it may seem obvious and lame, but just lock in during class. I never studied throughout high school because I was always paying attention during class and making the most of my time. So do whatever you have to do to stay locked in. For me, it was just taking as many notes as possible. That way I couldn't do anything else or just doze off during class. Number two get homework done asap. My goal every single day was to get my homework done during class. This saved me time, plus it made me less bored during class. So knock out your homework when you can during free time of other classes. Number three get help. Don't be afraid to ask your teacher or classmate for help or even to get a tutor. Just like you get a private coach for speed training, you should have a private coach for your academics. Do these three things and you will kill it in the classroom this year. Peace.
