This is the reason why you need to pick your school carefully. If you haven't heard, St. Francis, which is a Division 1 school, and the NEC is going to drop down to a Division 3 program in 2026. So, as you can imagine, this has caused a lot of chaos and about 94% of their players are in the transfer portal. But besides all the craziness, it's just an important lesson that you need to pick your school. Right? Because the reason why 94% of their players are in the transfer portal are for multiple reasons. Number one, a lot of them just want that D1 tag and want to play the Division One level, which I can't blame them. They are Division One players. They got recruited to a Division One school, and now the school is dropping down completely to a Division 3. It's a big slap into the face to the entire athletics program and especially to the kids that they've recruited year after year. Number two, the scholarships. Now that they're going to Division 3, they cannot offer athletic scholarships anymore. So both of these two reasons are big reasons that most of these players came to that school. It's also a huge reminder that there's no crystal ball when you come to make that decision of what school you're going to choose. So make sure when you're choosing your school, you're doing it for the right reasons for you. And you're clear on, though these are your goals to get.
