Why should a college coach whose life depends on how his recruits play take you over? A 21 year old with experience? That is the question you now need to answer in your recruiting. Coaches, especially Division 1 coaches, are not banking on development. They want results now. So you have to show them that you can do that. The issue is most families think that coaches should see this the very first time they come across your highlight video. As if that's enough. And unless your highlights pop off the screen, that's not going to be enough to convince college coaches you need to continue showing them proof or over and over again. You may think it's annoying, but coaches want players who believe in themselves and have the talent to back it up. And if that's you, then show it to them. Because who is a college coach more likely to offer? The recruit who sends a 10 minute highlight video that the coach just watches the first minute of or the recruit who sends 10 one minute highlight videos showcasing different skills that the coach wants to see? Makes it a pretty easy decision for the coach at that point, right? If you want to make it easy for college coaches to offer you scholarships and want help doing it, check out the link in my bio.
