A brief YouTube video (by Trenton Luera) giving concrete advice on how to email college coaches: craft a concise subject line containing position, graduation year, GPA, and key stats/awards; keep the email body short — introduce yourself, attach your highlight video, and ask a recruiting question — and avoid long personal paragraphs. The speaker also promotes a paid/lead-generation guide, claiming he earned a scholarship worth over $70,000 and asking viewers to comment “Scholarship” to receive it.

Coaches get hundreds of emails a day. If yours is wrong, they won't even open it. Now here's what your subject line should include. Position, graduation year, key stats or awards. An example of this is 2025 quarterback, 3.9 GPA, 22 TDs. You'll see it's super short, to the point and includes all those key details. Now inside the email. Keep it short and direct. Number one, introduce yourself. Your name, your position, your school. Number two, attach your highlight video. Number three Ask a question about the recruiting process. Don't include any paragraphs, no life stories. Keep it simple and you'll get more responses. Now email is one of my favorite ways to generate interest from college coaches. But there's a lot more to the recruiting process than just sending a few emails. I created a full guide that shows you how I earned a scholarship worth over $70,000. If you want it, comment Scholarship down below and I'll send it directly to you.
