A short YouTube video by Trent Lower (former college quarterback) giving advice to freshmen, transfers, and junior-college transfers about how to succeed when joining a new college football program. The clip opens with the creator’s credentials, a free-resource offer (a spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches’ emails), and an anecdote about helping a JUCO player transition to a D2 program; it frames common feelings of nervousness and unfamiliarity when arriving on campus.

If you're a freshman or transfer and you're going into a new college football team, then you're going to want to watch this video if you're new here. I'm Trent Lower, I'm a former college quarterback, so be sure to drop a follow if you like content like this. Also, if you want a free spreadsheet of 6000 plus college coaches emails, all you have to do is DM me the word email on Instagram and I'll send it to you for free. So I worked with a junior college kid a while back that ended up going to a D2 school over in the Northeast, and one of the big conversations I remember, and I wish I could just pull it up and share it all with you, is we're talking about ways to succeed once you get on campus. And this applies to both freshmen or transfers or junior college transfers. But the thing is, it's kind of scary because you're walking on the campus and you're completely new. Most of the time you don't know anyone else on the campus. Maybe you've met somebody on a visit or connected with a new future teammate on Instagram. Or maybe if you're lucky, you have one teammate or one guy that you know that's either on the team already or is going to be on the team when you're there. But for the most part, you're like completely brand new. You don't know any of the guys, you barely know the coaches, you just kind of got recruited by them. And so you're scared, you're nervous, you're not really too sure how things are going to go. But obviously.
