Short YouTube clip from Trenton Luera (Recruiting Sauce series) giving direct advice on negotiating college football scholarships. The speaker explains that many offers—especially below top-tier D1/FBS—are partial and paired with academic aid, highlights differences across divisions (D1/FBS, FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO), and encourages recruits to negotiate for more money because teams split limited scholarship budgets.

Recruiting sauce number nine. Recruiting Sauce is a series where I drop straight sauce on recruiting to help you get college football scholarships. Today's sauce is about scholarship offers themselves and mostly around the money of the scholarship offer. Because if you don't know, if you go D1, FBS, which is like the top division, if you don't end up going to there. So D1, FCS, D2, D3, NIA, JUCO, you're going to most likely get offered a partial scholarship now, D1, FCS level, you're probably gonna get that paired up with academic. You're probably to be fine, you'll probably get pretty close to full. But a D2, D3, well, D3 doesn't offer any athletic scholarships or NAA. You're probably going to have to pay some out of pocket money. And one of the things is negotiation of those scholarships because oftentimes you have to think it's a business. They're trying to get the most bang for their buck. They only have so many scholarships that they give out and they can split them up. So they're going to try and split them up amongst as many players as possible. But you can negotiate, you can't ask, hey, can I get X amount or can I just get more money? And here's the thing, too many recruits are scared to ask that. Here's the thing, if they say no, cool, probably going to still honor your scholarship if you still want to go there. If they say.
