Making this common mistake that recruits make when posting scholarship offers that's costing you other potential scholarships. If you don't know, it's very common when you receive a scholarship offer from a school that you posted on Twitter to let everybody know that you received that scholarship offer. Now, there's a couple reasons that people do this. Of course, the most important one is that everybody likes to flex, that they have offers in the first place. But number two, you're telling other coaches that, hey, this school has trusted me, they believe that I'm a great player, and that they are offering me a scholarship. Now, a lot of people think that you should post every single scholarship offer you get. This is not true. And this is the mistake that a lot of people make. You want to be selective with what you post. I've heard this from coaches themselves, that when they see people post certain offers from certain schools, instantly they know not to recruit that kid. So just because you got an offer from school does not mean that you should post it. A general rule of thumb is if you're trying to play at a certain level, you can post offers from a level below that, but do not go further below that. Let's say, for example, you're trying to play Division 1 football and you get an offer from a D3 or NA or JUCO school. You would not want to post those just way below.
