Balance is overrated. I'm sure you've heard this plenty of times. Hey, you need to balance your life. Don't spend some so much time doing one thing, whether it's football or whatever. That's just a straight up lie. If you're a football player trying to play at the next level, whether that's college or you have aspirations going to the NFL, you cannot try to have balance in your life. Sure, some people are going to be so talented that yeah, they can do whatever they want. They don't really have to work super hard towards getting their goals and they'll just be able to accomplish thing by thing pretty easily. I'm guessing if you're watching this video, that's probably not you. If you're thinking that, hey, you need to have balance, you need to spend time away from football. The thing is, most of your time should be going towards your goals and achieving what you want. And if you really want to play the next level or you want to play in the NFL, you have to be putting in so many hours that you can't even keep track because you get outsized results like insane increases in your bench press, insane increases in your 40 time, insane jumps in talent and get to levels like D1 and NFL by putting in an outsized amount of work and time. If that's not something that you're willing to.
