The number one thing that helped me get a scholarship offer was strong relationship. My first offer was from a D3 school and the number one thing that stands out to me as I look back on it. It's just that I built a strong relationship with the coach. We had constant communication. First time we connected, we ended up talking a lot over message and we continued that relationship, continuing to message each other. We even met at a camp one time, kind of accidentally, didn't even know they were going to be there and then ended up on a phone call. Got offered throughout the phone call and we were probably on the phone for about 40 to an hour long. Really couldn't tell you because it was years ago. And then we even continued that relationship as I went to junior college and he ended up going to a couple different schools again. It was because that relationship was so strong that I was able to stay in touch with him that I was able even to get the offer in the first place because that strong relationship built trust. So if you're looking to get your first offer, you need to have.
