Trenton Luera (YouTube, uploaded Mar 18, 2024) gives informal, experience-based advice for high-school seniors who receive multiple college football scholarship offers. He frames the audience (seniors post-season with several offers, often D2 and below), recommends asking each coach about their decision timetable (typically one to two weeks), and advises that schools will move on if you don't respond—so timing depends on which programs you prioritize.

So if you have offers from multiple schools and you're wondering, hey, when should I commit? When I should even consider committing, this video is for you. So this is probably a small percentage of people out there that are even going through this. But it's good to watch this video in case you find yourself in that situation later down the line though this wasn't necessarily my situation in high school. I didn't have multiple offers until post senior year. But I can't speak on from my experience being around a lot of other recruits, helping recruits with the process is what I would do. So. So starting with the probably most likely scenarios, like you're a senior, it's post senior year, you have multiple offers. Most of them are like lower level schools, D2 and below. You don't need to be that concerned about committing like super early. The easiest way to get an idea is just ask each coach that is offering you, like, hey, what's the timetable on this offer? Like, how long do I have to decide? Most of the time they'll tell you like a week or two. And if they don't get a clear answer from you that you're taking it, then they're going to have to start offering other guys, which is totally understandable. And that's just a normal circumstance. And so it's hard to give you, like, hey, commit before this date. It's really just based on that and what schools you're really ranking.
