If you're trying to get recruited, you need to have self awareness. Otherwise you're just going to go through frustration after frustration in the process. Now this is coming from someone who just recently went through the creed process, is a former college football player. And I'm just trying to help you go through your process with less frustration, less pain than I did. Now the whole idea of self awareness is to be aware of oneself. That's literally the definition. It may seem super simple, but what I mean by that is being aware of what you're doing, what others perceive of you. As far as talent level, your skill set. The easiest example is the guy who thinks he's going to go D1, but in reality he would struggle to make any college roster. And it's just funny because in recruiting this happens all the time. People think that their talent level exceeds way higher than their actual talent level is. So if you can just have that self awareness of like, hey, you know what? Actually I'm more of a FCS D2 guy. You're saving yourself a lot of time because then you can target those goals specifically way ahead of time than everybody else will. Because the normal path is, oh, I see these guys playing on T.
