This is one thing I wish I would have done more in the recruiting process. And it actually has nothing to do with scholarship offers or interest or how to get more of that. But I think it's important for not only recruits to listen to this, but also for parents first. If you don't know who I am, I'm Trent Leware. I'm a former college quarterback. Now I help recruits just like you and your son get recruited to play college football. One of the things that I often think about is just how stressful the process is. I'm sure if you're going through it, you might have that feeling or you might just be getting started kind of confused to even begin in the first place. Of course, everybody's goal is to get as good of a scholarship as possible. But one thing I wish I would have done more is just enjoy the journey. I mean, there's not many people in the world that get to go on a bunch of college visits, get recruited by schools. It's really a once in a lifetime experience. And I know that may be an argument to say, hey, don't worry about the journey, just go get the best results possible. Because it's also a once in a lifetime experience. And you want to maximize as much as possible. But ultimately, when it's all said and done, yeah, you might be like, dang, I could have went to this school, could have went to that school. But at the same time you're going to be like, wow, that was actually a pretty cool experience.
