Trenton Luera (former college QB) explains how one recruit secured six college visits in one week by simply asking coaches. He advises recruits to be proactive: request visits, camp invites, and ask coaches where they fit in the recruiting process to gain clarity and progress. This one recruit did this one thing to get six visits lined up in one week. If you don't know who I am, I'm Trent Lore. I'm a former college quarterback and I help recruits just like you with the recruiting process. So I was on a call the other day with one of my recruits and we're talking about his whole situation with visits because he was able to line up six different visits from D2 schools all the way up to D1 FCS schools. The thing is, most people will find this unbelievable that he was able to line up those visits. I mean, of course some of them are scheduled in with junior days, but most of them, he's able to get one on one access to the coaches. They set it all up for him. And now you're ready for the secret. And the secret is you just ask. The issue is most recruits are just too scared to ask for what they actually want. And of course, asking for an offer isn't going to get you anywhere. But you can still ask for visits, for camp invites. Ask where you even belong in the recruiting process though, so that way you can get clear on it and hopefully move farther in the process with them. So ultimately, if you're going through the recruiting process, talking to college coaches and you're just not sure how to move forward with certain things, just figure out questions to ask to get to yourself to move forward.
