A short YouTube video by Trenton Luera giving practical advice to high-school/junior-college recruits on three ways to get recruited for college football. The speaker offers a free spreadsheet of 6000+ college coaches' emails via Instagram DM, then outlines method #1 (be very good and let on-field performance/highlights attract coaches) and begins method #2 (leveraging connections such as high-school coaches or third parties).

If you're a recruit trying to get recruited to play college football, here are the three ways to get recruited. I'll break down each one step by step so that way you can get the most out of it and ultimately get closer to college football scholarship and make it way easier. First, before we dive into it, if you want a free spreadsheet of 6000 plus college coaches emails, all you have to do is DM me the word email on Instagram, I'll send to you for free. Now getting into the first one is really simple. You just need to be good at football. Like that's the number one hack in recruiting. Just be really, really good. Because if you're good on the field and your highlights show it, coaches see your highlights, they like you, they offer you, you get a ton of offers, it just kind of adds up, builds momentum and then eventually you don't really need to worry about your recruiting at all. It's more about finding the right for you. You're probably worrying about nil at that point. Doesn't even matter. So number one, just be really good at football. Obviously you can max out your talents so far, especially in high school. You're still developing as a player. You're going to develop a ton more in college. So obviously that's not everyone is going to be super, super talented and that's okay. You can still get recruited way. Number two is connection. Not my favorite, not what I use to get recruited in high school or in juco. But if your high school coach has connections, if you have some kind of third party that can help you out, it helps. But most of the time these are favors.
