Short YouTube monologue by Trenton Luera ("Recruiting Sauce" series) giving three preparatory actions recruits should take before messaging college coaches: fill out the school's questionnaire so you appear invested and enter their database; research the coach and school to personalize outreach; and follow the coach on Twitter (or other platform) to increase visibility. The video also offers a free spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches' emails via Instagram DM.

Recruiting Sauce. Number seven, Recruiting Sauce is a straight series where I drop straight sauce on recruiting so that way you can get recruited to play college football. Before we dive into today's episode, if you want a free spreadsheet of 6000 plus college coaches emails, all you have to do is DM me the word email on Instagram. I'll send to you for free. So today we're talking about messages, but not exactly the message itself, but what you should be doing before the message so that we can look a lot better than the rest of recruits sending messages. Now, the three things that you're going to want to do is, number one, you want to fill out their questionnaire. Because you mention that in the message, it makes you look way more interested in the school. You're already in their database. It's just a ton of things that can put you way ahead of everyone else in the process because they're probably gonna ask you to do it anyway. Number two, do research on the coaching school. Everybody's favorite subject is themselves and you're going to want to personalize that message towards them, towards the coach, towards the school. And the more personalized you can get with that, the better research you can do, the more impressive your message is, the more it's going to stand out, more likely they're going to be to respond. And the last thing, number three is make sure to follow them on Twitter whether you're emailing them or going to DM them. Especially we're going to DM them on Twitter if you're not following.
