A short YouTube monologue (by Trenton Luera) giving personal advice to high school football players who are thinking about transferring schools to improve their college recruiting prospects. The speaker frames the remarks as opinion based on his experience playing college football and helping recruits, urges listeners to remove stigma around transferring, to clearly identify and document their reasons for transferring, and notes transferring is common and within the rules. He also references his own near-transfer around senior year.

If you're a current high school football player and you want to play college football, but you feel like your current high school is not going to help you get there, so you're thinking about transferring, then listen to this now. Disclaimer. This is just my opinion. This is my take. Coming from someone who played college football and now helps kids get recruited and get college football scholarships. By no means is this a fact. This is just something to chew on and think about if you're thinking about transferring. Because going through my high school football process, I didn't even start my junior year, and so I was thinking about transferring going into my senior year. So first off, you just need to remove the negative stigma around transferring. Luckily, this is kind of going away because with the college football process, with even high school football now, transferring has become very common. And now everyone can throw their opinions of, oh, this has created everybody to be soft. And I agree to the extent people have gotten to the soft, to the extent where they're just transferring for the reason to transfer, but it doesn't mean it can't be useful to some people. And if you go about the right way, it can become useful to you. And it's legal, it's in the rules. You might as well try to use it. Now you're going to try and figure out, like, why are you trying to transfer? Like, what's the exact reason? Because you need to have proof of that reason.
