How to get a college football scholarship even if you don't have any stars. Now, in the days of modern recruiting, stars and rankings are all the hype, but in reality, you don't need any of that. I'm going to show you exactly how you can get recruited without having any stars or rankings first. If you don't know who I am, I'm Tren Loire. I'm a former college quarterback and I help recruits just like you get college football scholarships. So first things first, if you're trying to go Power 5 without stars, most likely you're not going to be able to do it. Those schools are highly ranked, so they're looking for the top of the top. So in a lot of cases, if you're not even like a three star by the end of your senior year, they're then most likely you're probably not going to go Power 5, though they do recruit lower. I'm not saying that's not the case, but stars is essentially kind of a thing that comes with being a Power 5 recruit. But group of five and below, you'll see guys that are no stars that end up going to a group of five program. So it is possible. And FCS programs, D2 programs, D3 programs, NAS, they all recruit kids with no stars. The stars and rankings is more for entertainment, if anything. So how do you get recruited without stars? The thing is, you're going to have to do the work by yourself. The key is getting known by coaches. That's what stars and rankings do, is get you known by coaches.
