Short YouTube advice clip by Trenton Luera (former college quarterback) about how to follow up with college coaches without being intrusive. The speaker offers a free spreadsheet of 6,000+ college coaches' emails (DM on Instagram) and gives the core tip: personalize follow-ups based on the coach's game schedule — congratulate on wins with a follow-up question about preparation, and avoid mentioning losses.

My favorite way to follow up with a college coach without seeming creepy or bugging them. If you're getting responses from college coaches and then they're just ghosting you afterwards and you have no idea what to say next, then this is exactly for you. First, before we dive in, I'm trending where I'm a former college quarterback and currently I help kids just like you get recruited. If you want to save yourself hundreds of hours, then go grab my free spreadsheet with 6000 plus college coaches emails. All you have to do is DM me the word email on Instagram. I'll send it to you for free. So the key to following up with a coach and not bugging him or creeping him out is personalizing the follow up. Now this is really easy in season. For example, let's say you start talking to coach, they don't get back to you or for some reason it's just hard to create a conversation. So you pay attention to their schedule, see what happens in their next game. If they win, you congratulate them on that win and you just say like, oh, how are things going over there? For example, let's say you're talking to like Nevada and Nevada beats Fresno State. You'd be like, hey Coach, congrats on that win against or Fresno State. Like how are you guys preparing against San Diego State this next week? Simple as that. Now let's say they lose. Now obviously you're not going to want to say congrats on the loss. You're going to just don't mention anything about the loss.
