Short YouTube advice video by Trenton Luera for high-school seniors (and their parents) about choosing the best college in different recruiting scenarios. The speaker outlines three situation types—(1) multiple offers and unsure which to pick, (2) feeling overlooked (aiming for D1 but only D2 offers), and (3) no or low-level offers—and begins to give guidance, starting with evaluating goals (e.g., NFL aspirations) when choosing among multiple offers.

If you're a senior who hasn't committed to a school yet or a parent of one, then watch this. I'm gonna be breaking down the three different types of situations you might be going through and how to deal with them to land at the best school for you. The three different types of situations are, one, you have multiple offers and you're happy with a few of them. You just don't know which one to choose. Two, you feel like you're overlooked. Like, for example, let's say you want to go D1. You were getting recruited by D1s, but you only have D2 offers and can't get that D1 offer. Number three is you have no offers, or all your offers are from super low schools that you just aren't interested in. So first, let's talk about number one. So you have a bunch of offers on the table, you're getting good financial packages. You like the schools. You just, like, have a hard time deciding which one is the best fit for me. Which one am I going to be, like, really happy with? Which one is going to get me, like, the best shot at playing time, maybe playing in the NFL? How do I choose between those two? And to be honest, it's really hard for me to speak on it without context on your situation. The biggest tip I can give is do it based on what you want in the future and what your goals are if you really want to play in the NFL.
