I learned this the one thing about recruiting. It took my recruiting to the next level. This resulted in me getting 25 post scholarship offers. One of my biggest fears was the fear that I might not be able to play college football. It was a big dream of mine. I put in time on the field and in the classroom all the time. At a 4.22 GPA, I was on the field all the time. Practice, training, workouts, whatever it took to get better as a player. So it felt like I should get a scholarship offer at some point. But you never know. Who knows what's going to happen in the future? I didn't really understand how the process worked anyway. Eventually I realized that you have to put in the time and the effort to get recruited to get noticed by college coaches. So once I realized that was the big thing that was going to decide whether I get recruited or not, that's what I put a lot of my time into. Sending out DMs was the main thing I did. I sent out a bunch of DMs to coaches, follow them like their posts, try to get their attention as much as possible. Then once I got a response back, I was quick with my responses and tried to build a relationship as fast and as reliably as possible.
