If you're trying to get recruited to play college football, you need to do this right now. Doing this one thing will save a lot of confusion and let you have a much smoother recruiting process first. Before we dive into that, I'm Trent Lauera, I'm a former college quarterback and now I help recruits just like you do the same. And also, if you want a free spreadsheet with 6000 plus college coaches emails, all you have to do is DM me the word email on Instagram, I'll send it to you for free. So this one thing is just talking to your high school head coach, letting them know that you want to get recruited, that this is your goal, to either go like D1 or D2, or just letting them know that so that way there's open communication that they know that ahead of time. That happens way too much where the parents or the recruits tell me, hey, like my high school coach didn't even know that I wanted to get recruited. And there's just a bunch of miscommunication before anything even really happens. On top of that, you can even just keep an open dialogue throughout it, asking if anybody's been reaching out to them about recruiting you, asking them a question so that way you know who's interested in you or who's not. Also, you'll get a good idea of how supportive your coach is going to be throughout that process. Because to be honest, not every head coach is all gung ho on getting their kids recruited, as you might think, which.
