A short YouTube video by Trenton Luera (former college quarterback) giving actionable advice on how high-school players can improve their chances in the college football recruiting process. Main points in this chunk: (1) being an excellent player solves most recruiting problems, and (2) actively getting known by college coaches early—through social media posts, direct messages, emails, and attending camps—helps generate interest and offers.
I'm going to show you exactly how.
To crush the recruiting process. That way you can get more interest, more offers, end up at your dream school. First, if you don't know who I am, I'm Trenton Lohrera. I'm a former college quarterback and I help recruits just like you get college football scholarships. So be sure to drop me a follow for more like this. The first step is just be a really great player. There's no real secret to that that'll take care of like 99% of your recruiting problems. So, like, hopefully you hit the genetic lotto be like 6, 5, run a 4, 4. You'll be chilling if that's what you do.
Now, most of us, sadly do not end up with the genetic lottery, so in that case, then you have to go to step two. And that's to get known by as many college coaches as earlier. You can do this the better. Now, the good thing with social media is it's super easy to get known by college coaches. You reach out to them directly through, like, things like Twitter, DMs or emails. You go see them at camp, you can just post on social media and your post will pop up on their feeds. Again, the earlier you can start to do this, the better. Because, for example, you can take a guy like Baby Gronk. I know it's probably not the best example, but a lot of people will say, oh, it's ridiculous that he's getting all his attention, this and that, and I don't disagree. It's a little bit crazy, but.
