I went from backup quarterback to college football quarterback. With 25 plus scholarship offers, I started my recruiting process. Going into my junior year, all I had was JV film. But I still went to camps and put myself out there. I even got D1 interest from schools like San Jose State. Senior season kicked off, but I sat the vent. Luckily I was still able to get some film which set me up for a chance to be recruited. Going into my senior year, everything seemed to be going my way. I started my first four games with 10 touchdowns and only one interception. Though I still got told you're not good enough. Ended up getting benched on homecoming. I finished the season, felt like I had no chance at getting any scholarships. But eventually I realized that you have to put yourself out there to get scholarship offers. Which led to me getting 14 scholarship offers. But even with those opportunities, I still wanted something more. So I decided to go the junior college route and take a chance on myself. Graduated in 2020. So for the first season we didn't play due to Covid. But I still got to develop my skills and get better. Going into my freshman season I was ready until sadly I was the backup again. Despite that, I still was able to get some great film. Ended up finishing up a season with a great performance.
