Short instructional video by Trenton Luera advising high-school football players to use Twitter as their primary recruiting platform. He explains how to set up a recruiting-focused profile (photo, bio with measurables and academic info, pinned highlights) and recommends messaging college coaches directly and consistently (target ~20+ DMs per day).

Stop wasting your time on college camps trying to get recruited. Do this instead. Set up a Twitter account. Twitter is where 90% of recruiting happens. Every single college coach that you want to talk to is on Twitter. Except for Nick Saban, but who cares because he's retired. The awesome part about Twitter is it's basically your recruiting brand, your entire business card. So you want to make sure it's set up properly. Have a profile picture showing your face. Make sure your bio has relevant information like your height, weight, graduation year, gpa, high school, or any other interesting things about you, like 40 times or bench press. Then lastly, post your highlights and make it your pinned tweet. Now that you have your entire recruiting business card set up, you can start reaching out to coaches. Now you can do this a bunch of different ways on Twitter. My favorite way is to DM them. Make a little message. Make sure to include their last name and their school so that way they know it's personalized to them. Talk about yourself a little bit and link your highlight. Then just press send. Now you're going to want to consistently do this. I tell the guys that I work with you want to do 20 plus per day. If you want to go above beyond, that's great. But at least try to do 20 on top of DMs. You can.
