This is my take on the transfer and bet on yourself philosophy and why it's stupid. If you're new here and don't know who I am, I'm Trent where I'm a former college quarterback so be sure to follow for more content like this. Now I'm not saying that anybody's stupid for betting on themselves. I'm all for that. I just think right now the transfer portal and the idea of transferring up or betting on yourself is a little bit overplayed and too many people, social media etc are putting these ideas into current college football players mind that it's super easy to transfer, that you know you're gonna find the right home for you and that screw it if they're not really going to stick with you at your current school, whatever it might be. And again, I'm all for transferring, I'm not against it. But reality is when you bet on yourself you are betting on yourself and it is highly unlikely if you look at the numbers literally most people that enter the transportal do.
