I'm done gatekeeping. Here's how to get a D1 football scholarship. Too many people think it's about connections, that you need your high school coach to go out and reach out to coaches, or that you need to know someone to get into Division 1 football programs. That's just not how it works. Here's how it actually works. First off, you need to become a really good player. If you're not a good player, you're just not going to play at the D1 level. Next, you need to get known by college coaches. That means reaching out to them in a bunch of different ways. Twitter, you can use questionnaires, you can go to camps, figure out one way and just stick with it. Next, once you get noticed by these coaches, you need to start building real relationships with them. That's what I did personally, to get recruited by Division 1 schools and ended up getting a college football scholarship to play at the next level. So right now, today, start becoming a better player and start reaching out to coaches. If they don't know about you, you're not going to get offered by them. Start now.
