How I ended up committed to one of the top NIA schools in the nation. Throughout my football career, I talked to hundreds of college coaches and received 25 plus scholarship offers. During that time, I learned what I liked in school in the first place. Coming out of high school, I really had no clue. I imagine the same for most of you guys. Everyone knows you can go to a visit and it'll be a blast, but in the moment you step on campus for fall camp, it's completely different. So I learned a lot when I went the juco route. I learned that to me, having coaches that I trust and respected was big for me and guys that I enjoyed being around. So. So to me, that was a big part of what I was looking for in school. Out of juco, I ended up only visiting one school. When I visited the school, I just knew it was the right fit. They had coaches that I respected that I liked being around, and the guys around there were awesome. Ended up committing and from there had a blast. So if there's anything you can learn from this, figure out what you really want out of school. Otherwise you might just end up like those thousands of guys in the portal. Because ultimately, when they committed to school, they really had no plan. So put together a plan and stick with it. Follow for more tips like this.
