So today I'm sharing with you the story of how I got an offer by skipping class. But first, if you're new here and don't know who I am, I'm Tren Loire. I'm a former college quarterback. So be sure to follow for more content like this. And also if you want a free spreadsheet of 6,000 plus college coaches emails, all you have to do is check out the link in my bio. So to give some backstory, I was not heavily recruited in high school. I barely played my junior year, had a little bit of film, used it, went to some camps, I had some things going, was talking to like some FCS program, but really didn't have anything strong. I played my senior season. I got benched a couple times throughout the season. So pretty much to me I was like, there's no way I'm getting recruited. I'm just obviously not good enough. But still, I was able to get out to some coaches, was able to get some interest from some smaller schools. And so one of those schools was a small school over in Iowa, and we had actually built a pretty good relationship with one of the coaches. And so it seemed like a possible landing spot to me. I was actually very interested in school. They seemed like a good school academically and even athletically. So I was scheduled for a visit, I think about like mid to late January. And so they were actually coming from Iowa over to California because they recruit.
