Here's the truth. Scholarships are not what you think. Most people have this common idea of scholarships that every single one's a full ride that you're getting school paid for. And that's just not the truth, even in football. So if you don't know the scholarship breakdown by division, it goes the D1FBS, that means the top division of football, that is a group of five, that is power four. They offer only full rides. It's 85 full ride scholarship. Below that, once it gets to D1FCS, these are still really good schools. They're just a little bit smaller. It goes 63 scholarships, but they can be broken up into a partial athletic scholarship. And most of the time they usually are. So when you see a guy get offered from a D2 school, an NII school, usually they're getting offered partial athletic scholarships paired with some kind of academic. Because these schools like D2 can only have 36 athletic scholarships offered and NAS can have usually 24. And yes, they can offer fools, but it's extremely rare to get a full ride at these schools. And it's good to know this ahead of time. So that way you have the clear expectations and you also know if you get a full ride from a D2 from an NA school, they're serious about you.
