A YouTube video (by Trenton Luera) advising high-school football players who lack junior-year game film on alternative ways to showcase skills for college recruitment. The speaker explains why missing game tape hurts recruitment and recommends creating additional outside-the-game videos (e.g., pro day-style drill footage that highlights position-specific strengths) and not waiting until late in the senior season.

So one recruit messaged me on Twitter and asked, hey, I don't have much film for my junior year, and I'm going to my senior year. I want to play college football, but I don't really know what to do because I don't have any film. And I kind of realized I just answered his question. I was like, dude, I was in the same exact spot. So I figured I'd record a video kind of talking about it because I'm sure it's not an uncommon situation because I went through it, this kid's going through it. I know other people are going through it, too. So the biggest thing is you don't have in game film. Okay, yeah, that's definitely hurting your chances. It's hard to address that, especially in football. The biggest key here is you're on one to prove yourself without game. And we don't want to wait all the way until your senior year, but we don't want to wait all the way until your senior season to finally get that film, and then it might be too late. So there's two good ways that we can do it. Number one, you're going to get additional video outside of game. So you're going to go record things that play to your strengths.
